Banking Without Bankers - P2P Lending

Time : 18h00 - 19h30
Location: Leoni Aula A

The Bocconi Economics Student Association and Tech at Bocconi are honoured to invite you to our co-organised event, in order to explore together the fascinating world of Peer-to-Peer Lending.
The P2P Lending system matches borrowers with lenders without the need of a financial institution as an intermediary. Borrowers face lower interest rates than in the ordinary money market, while investors gain higher returns - posing a serious threat to traditional banking.
In order to broaden and deepen our knowledge on the topic, we have invited a panel of speakers belonging to both Università Bocconi and the professional world:
- Anna Omarini, Bocconi professor from the dept. of Finance.
- Roberto Condulmari, co-founder and CEO of Kairos Investment Management, Fund and Portfolio Manager, Board Member of the P2P startup Prestiamoci and co-founder of P2P Lending Italia.
- Maurizio Sella, founder of the P2P startup Smartika.
- Francesco Sacco, Bocconi professor from the dept. of Management and Technology.
A Q&A Session will be held at the end of the event.
